Based on the results for 2023, two new hospitality facilities with total room stock of 314 hit the Moscow market. Due to the change of some hotel operators in the projects under construction, their delivery deadline was pushed back to a later period. The share of rooms in the quality supply, which are still operating under the brands of the hotel operators which left the market, dropped to 14.6% (-21.9 p.p. vs. the previous year). About 3,000 quality rooms may change their management company and naming in the near future.

It can be noted that in 2023 the market indicators were approaching the pre-crisis figures. The average daily rate (ADR) indicator amounted to 7,106 rubles/day, which is 16.7% higher than a year earlier and 6% higher than in 2019. Occupancy of the capital city's hotels also showed steady growth in 2023: relative to the previous year the hotel occupancy increased by 12.7 p.p. to 72%.
